“Lang Co - the world’s most beautiful bay” festival to take place in Thua Thien-Hue

The festival, “Lang Co - the world’s most beautiful bay 2011”, will take place in Phu Loc District, Thua Thien-Hue Province, on July 9th and 10th to honour cultural values and landscapes as well as affirm the position, potential and prospect of Lang Co in socio-economical development of Phu Loc District in the future.

Located 70 km south of Hue City and 20 km north of Da Nang City, Lang Co was named as one of the world’s most beautiful bays on May 16th, 2009 by the Worldbays Club.

During the two-day festival, Vietnamese and international visitors will have an opportunity to take part in various activities, such as cuisine exhibition and a fair, traditional boat racing, football and volleyball games, fishermen’s festival to pray for seafaring safety and so on.

Through the festival, the organising panel wants to promote potentials and prospect of the tourism industry in Thua Thien-Hue Province in general, and in the bay in particular, in order to attract more Vietnamese and international investors to invest in the bay.
