Minister Dinh La Thang Sends a Commendation Letter to the Viet Nam Maritime Search and Rescue Co-Ordination Center

On March 20th, 2012, Minister Dinh La Thang sent a letter praising Viet Nam Maritime Search and Rescue Co-ordination Center for its successful rescue of 47 people of ship QNa 90019 TS. Here is the full letter of Minister Dinh La Thang:
"Through a brief report I know that at 16:40 of March 19, 2012, Viet Nam Maritime Search and Rescue Co-ordination Center has rescued 47 crew of ship QNa 90019 TS- broken machines, loitered, lost ability to maneuver from March 17th, 2012, at location of 45 nautical miles east of Nha Trang coast (12o10 N; 109o58 E). This was the successful rescue of the Viet Nam Maritime Search and Rescue Co-ordination Center so far.
On behalf of the leadership of the Ministry of Transport, I would like to praise and congratulate all the comrades. Taking this opportunity I appreciate highly your spirit of great responsibility, disregard of danger by day as well as by night rescuing entire 47 crew members of the ship QNa 90019 TS who are in safe condition traveling to Nha Trang.
I hope that in future, in addition to the efforts of professional works, the Viet Nam Maritime Search and Rescue Co-ordination Center and Fourth Zone Maritime Search and Rescue Co-ordination Center will preserve and promote the spirit of accountability and professional, ethical responsibility to provide safety for the ships, as well as domestic and foreign sailors and fishermen being on the seas of Viet Nam. I also hope that more new typical people of responsibility would appear from your example in the maritime sector, as in our whole transport sector.
